Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman came to Vancouver a couple nights ago, and I was financially secure enough, and had enough free time to see them, THANK YOU TIME/MONEY MANAGEMENT.

A great performance by the Jane Austen Argument, and lovely poetry and story readings by NG. I particularly liked their (Amanda and NG) rendition of "Making Whoopee".

okay so I recently found out that I wasn't going to New York because my mom didn't book the tickets (I told her to in March) and they would be too expensive for my sister etc etc I got all upset at my mom blah blah, but now I am going. We were nursing a 1-0 lead, Burrows whipped the first one in early in the first period and the teams strength carried on through out the second. In the third we killed about 10 minutes, the twins looking a little lack luster, but the team kept Chicago in check.
